Mothers Day With The Home Depot

Sharing is caring!

One of my favorite ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is to set the table in a special way for my Mom.

Thinking outside the box for that perfect gift can be difficult on Mothers Day… many of us moms are the type to not ask for gifts.

What many Moms really want is the gift of leisure time with you! The gift of having time to enjoy their loved ones can be better than any gift in a store.

Today, with the help and partnership of The Home Depot, I am sharing how you can give her the gift of time and relaxation with the people she loves most!

Using almost all products from The Home Depot, we were able to set up a beautiful outdoor table for a Mothers Day brunch she will be sure to love! You might be surprised to learn that The Home Depot can be a one stop shop for your outdoor tabletop needs.

All of these products from The Home Depot are okay for use outside. The plates and bowls are made of Melamine, which can stand up to the rigors of outdoor use and is hard to break, but still dishwasher safe.

It’s nice to give the atmosphere a little extra thought with flowers. I picked these from my yard, which is sometimes how you end up with the best bouquets!

For this table, I started off with an 100% cotton white tablecloth, and layered it with stain resistant placemats that coordinated with my color scheme. The melamine dinner plates have a handmade, feminine look to them, and at $35 for a set of 4 is great for a quick set up. We also used the matching bowls.

I am a big fan of using bamboo flatware outside- it gives a fun, vacation feel to an outdoor meal! It is not actual bamboo so you can wash it in the dishwasher, and the price is right.
