Our bedroom in the new house has a secondary room directly off of it, separated by two glass doors. It has a fireplace and a wetbar, so we’ve been calling this room our lounge but really it’s just a cool adults only room. Fun, right?

table in a lounge

The last owner used this room for a spacious office, which is practical! We saw the fireplace, big windows, sink and mini fridge and all I could see was morning coffee, heavy drapes, and luxurious furniture in this room.

Recently we added a beautiful console table (the Pompidou Console Table) from OKA between the two windows. It arrived quickly; a pleasant surprise with furniture right now.

The table is made of iron with a thick glass top; a classic piece to put behind a sofa or along an entry wall. Of course it’s also a great place to put your picture frames, books, a candle or a cozy little lamp. I mixed in a large piece of artwork that leans against the wall. The glass top and the iron is a beaitful combo!

This table also comes in the form of a coffee table as well. OKA offers unique designs (a little bit British feeling!) with fun textiles, lamps, soft furnishings, poufs, and more.
