Lighting with kate spade In Our Home: Cost and Details

Sharing is caring!

I am on a kick with lighting – we have replaced almost all the original lights on the first floor! Today I am thrilled to be partnering with Circa Lighting and adding ksny lighting to our home.. I sourced most of my lighting from Circa for our current home we are busy renovating.

I’ll say it again – louder this time! If at all possible, budget a larger allowance than you think you will need when building or renovating. It will pay off ten fold! There is no substitute for fine lighting and what it does to a room. I’ll find a knock off rug or decor, but I prefer designer lighting every time.

Our kate spade lighting is sophisticated and fun. The brand is not afraid of color, but it’s always done in a classic way. Flowers are frequent in her designs, but never gaudy. Her designs are fresh and fun!

The kate spade Collection is a great place to start. You may be surprised to learn the collection has beautiful pieces that start just over $100.

The pieces below are priced competitively for designer lighting and start at $145:

Beekman Table Lamp

When we moved into this home last year, we ripped out the old carpet in all the kids bedrooms and installed hardwoods, but since then Leo’s room has been sitting without much in it. This week we are installing wallpaper and drapes this week, so when the Beekman Table Lamp arrived I may have squealed!

It is that perfect shade of kate spade green and looks darling in his room! The color is LIFE! That brass and green is such an on-trend combo right now. The switch is on the cord, so I don’t worry about Leo bumping the lampshade when he turns it on and off.

The Beekman Table Lamp is priced around $800, and offered in blush, red, and gray, as well as in a taller option.

The brand kate spade is known for that fun, preppy pop of color, so if you like colorful lighting (it brings life into a kids’ space!), consider these:

Guest Room Lighting

For our guest room lighting, I chose kate spade lighting from Circa for both the night tables and the bathroom. I considered the Albie Desk Lamp, but loved that fun globe shape on the Elsie Lamps. They are priced at $519.

Just lovely, with or without the lights on. The gold is just the right shade. We did two matching ones for our guests. The switch is conveniently on the cord!

And for the guest bathroom, we used my current most favorite, the Castle Peak Small Sconces. A little feminine but still cool is my favorite kind of personal style. But kate spade sconces from Circa are not short on styles just like this!

The guest bathroom isn’t quite finished – everything is so delayed! But not those sconces.

Tip: Just make sure when you pick out scones for bathrooms you notice the wattage and amount of bulbs – you don’t want to find yourself with dim light above a vanity! Good luck!
