The girls bathroom is a fun little share I have for you today! Our girls are only 6 and 2 so they don’t currently spend a lot of time in here, except to take baths and leave their towels + toys all over the floor.
But one day they will be fighting over their bathroom, so we tried to maximize the space!
Our initial idea was to keep this fairly light and bright as it’s a small space and I knew it would be messy at times… .as in, most of the time. I didn’t want to clutter it up with artwork or dark paint. Light and bright helps it feel clean!
The paint in here is Sherwin Williams Ice Cube. See more about our interior paint colors here.
My favorite thing hands down in the girls bathroom is their round oversized mirror. The peach color is so cute and different. It’s perfect for a kids’ bathroom!
We used solid white quartz on the counter. This countertop is great for a kids’ bathroom- so low maintenance. No sealing, it doesn’t stain from toothpaste etc, everything just WIPES clean to a bright white again! I love having something that actually stays white – especially if it involves kids.
Read about all the quartz we used in our home and my thoughts on living with white quartz after 2.5 years!
These globe retro lights are so cute – and the price was good. These are gender neutral and have a classic shape.
The tile in their shower is porcelain tile. I considered taking it up to the ceiling (like we did in our guest and master bath) but in the end decide the cost wasn’t worth it for the kids. I don’t regret that decision!
The girls’ bathroom is on my list to get some wall tile or wallpaper – or perhaps even both. For now it is clean and fresh for them- pretty cute!
