Every year I envision a ground breaking Pinterest worthy tree. My best decorated Christmas tree, ever! And every year as I pull out our decor, I fall for the ol’ motherhood trap. All our kids’ homemade popsicle stick ornaments, the handprinted presents-on-a-hook they made in preschool… I end up feeling sentimental and covering my tree with construction paper ornaments! (I have found the answer is to have several Christmas trees….)

But first I am sharing our 2 trees. For our main tree we went with this under $300 faux tree from Amazon, and I am beyond impressed. This is our second year with a faux and I was nervous to invest a lot before I knew if I liked artificial! I thought a decent tree cost triple the price or more, so I was thrilled to find this beautiful option!
My tree:

Our tree does require fluffing when you first get it. If you don’t fluff all the branches and stems, you won’t love it! Just an fyi.
Here our same tree is again, in 2020, decorated with these candles.
Our Same Tree In Other Sizes:
We have our smaller Noble Fir tree in the entry. It came prelit until my dog got into the lights! It is still beautiful without the lights and I kept the decor simple.

How beautiful is that demi village wreath in the window? The house even lights up!
These are the Christmas trees that holiday dreams are made of. Eat your home decor lovin’ heart out!

This happens to be my FAVORITE tree and I love how Annie decorated hers. It is the über popular prelit, LED Faux Noble Fir. I am crazy about those branches! You can find an updated version of this beauty sold at Anthropologie, or Terrian. They do sell out every year of certain sizes! (Unlit version is available here).

If you want to switch your tree up this year to use a new color, no need to go out and buy all new ornaments. Just use ribbon in your chose color and weave it throughout the tree. The wider the ribbon, the better. Don’t forget to use it on some presents beneath if you really want to take it an extra step!

Our flocked tree:
This flocked prelit tree is from King of Christmas. We found our tree collar here– it was the last one in the store by mid November so scoop it up early if you need one!
